Ordered teriyaki tofu and veggie bento and a fried pata, both of which were above average. The last couple of days I was really looking for authentic food but somehow did not get it. The other dishes I ordered were not the 5 star rating, especially the pad Thai most disappointing. The service was smooth and great. The temp of the food was right and the rice was of good quality. This was the most authentic meal that I had in Dunedin. I highly recommend this restaurant for the most authentic Filipino dishes and the most tasty bento.

The food is great! I've tried dishes from different Filipino restaurants and this place cooks the best lechon belly, dinuguan, and vegetable soup (5/5 rating)! I'll give 3.5 to karekare as it needs improvement. Staff members are friendly and patient. The place is family-friendly. Overall I think its 4.7/5.
Incredible food served at such a high standard every timeI had to take pics of everyone's dishes, as they all looked (and tasted) amazing! Pictured are all meals from the Filipino menu, definitely don't skip these options, you won't be disappointed. The friendly service and comfortable atmosphere make for an easy going experience but you're served the highest quality food. Absolutely recommend!
